The customer decides the term of maturity according to his/her needs and now Mercantil Commercebank Personal Online Banking customers can benefit from being able to open a Mercantil Commercebank Certificate of Deposits online with a U.S. $10,000 minimum.

All that's required to get started is:

• A Mercantil Commercebank Personal Account (Checking, Savings, Money Market or NOW).
• Sufficient funds in the account to fund the CD online.

To open your account online simply log-in and select the "Certificates of Deposit Online" option from the "Banking Transactions" menu.
