1. What is an Online Statement?
An Online Statement is an exact electronic copy of your account statement. The electronic version can be viewed, downloaded, saved, or printed at your convenience. | Back to top


2. What accounts will show on my online statement?
You may view your personal checking, savings and money market accounts. | Back to top


3. Will I be charged a fee for online statements?
Online statements are free of charge for registered Online Banking customers. | Back to top


4. Will my Online Statement look the same as my regular printed statements?
The contents of the statement will be the same, however the statement will show in black and white instead of the colors on the printed statements. Also, the reconciliation page which normally appears on the back of each page will only show once, at the end of the statement. | Back to top


5. What Web browsers can I use to access my Online Statements?
For maximum performance, we recommend that you use either Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, or Netscape Navigator® 5.0 or higher. | Back to top


6. Will I be able to access my Online Statement with WebTV?
No. Online Statements are displayed in Portable Document Format (PDF). WebTV does not support PDF. | Back to top


7. What is PDF?
Adobe® Portable Document Format (PDF) is a standard file format for distributing electronic documents. Adobe PDF files can be viewed, saved, and printed by using Adobe Acrobat Reader software. The basic Adobe Acrobat Reader software is available for free directly from Adobe.

8. Will I be notified when an online statement is available?
Yes. You will receive an email from us notifying you that the statement is available for viewing online. The timing of each email will depend on the statement cycle of the account you have enrolled for the Online Statement service. | Back to top


9. Will I receive the inserts that were included with my mailed statement?
Yes. This information will be added to your online statement. | Back to top


10. Will I still receive paper statements if I sign-up for Online Statements?
No. Paper statements will no longer be produced and mailed to you after you enroll for Online Statements. | Back to top


11. Why didn't I receive an email notification that my statement was ready to view online?
Please make sure that you have not blocked receiving email from Mercantil Commercebank. If you have given us your work email, it is possible that your employer may block receipt of personal mail. Even if you have not read the email from us, you may still review the statement online. Please sign on to Mercantil Commercebank’s Online Banking and look for the link to Online Statements on the Account Summary page.
