Mercantil Commercebank customers who request wire transfers via fax should download the new wire transfer "Standard Form" to authorize this type of transaction.

All wire transfers will be processed within 2 business days after they are received provided that all criterion are met:

• Funds are available in the account.
• Instructions are received in the Standard Form
• The form is filled out legibly and completely, and no additional data is needed.
• The parties in the wire request are not in the OFAC list.
• There are no discrepancies with the signature(s) provided.
• There’s a Funds Transfer Agreement (FTA) on file.

Mercantil Commercebank cannot control when a wire transfer will be acknowledged by the receiving bank, and will not notify about any Payment Orders that have not been executed in absence or a Standard Form.

Once the wire transfer takes effect, Mercantil Commercebank will debit the fee from the account of the customer requesting the service. For fees related to this service, click on the appropriate option:
